Flavourly’s Crowdsourced Collaboration range with Loch Lomond Brewery is now award-winning, picking up two medals at the coveted SIBA Scotland Independent Beer Awards 2019.
The prestigious awards, run by the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) and this year hosted by Arran View Brewery in Dreghorn, are judged in a blind tasting by brewers and beer experts and seen very much as the brewers’ choice awards in the industry.
Two of Flavourly’s collaboration beers with the Scottish brewery took home medals, with Loch Lomond co-founder Fiona MacEachern on hand to pick up the gongs.
Come On Pilgrim, our stunning 5.0% New England IPA, grabbed a gold medal as the best of the bunch in the Bottle/Can Speciality Light Beers category.
Meanwhile, Electric Café, our seriously sessionable Pilsner-style lager, took home a bronze medal in the Bottle/Can Session Lager & Pilsners category.
Elsewhere, Loch Lomond continued to have a great night, picking up five additional medals for some of their own great beers like Southern Summit, Lost Monster and Bravehop, taking their medal haul on the night to a whopping seven.
It’s a testament to great work being done by Fiona and the rest of the team at Loch Lomond Brewery who we believe are making some of the most consistently brilliant beers in Scotland, and the UK as a whole.
