Pouring a dark brown with bright flashes of red when it hits sunlight, this gorgeous Scottish ale, which uses ten kinds of malts, carries flavours of caramel and fruit loaf. A smokiness carries onto a nose that has a woody, nutty quality that adds brilliantly to the brew’s wintry feel. - Learn more about Alechemy Brewing
About the makers
Alechemy Brewing Turning grain into gold
James and Adam at Alechemy are two brewers you can definitely trust. Technically, James' deep rooted microbiology background makes him a sort of doctor of beer-making! Nowadays, the pair have put science aside and returned to their home town of Mid-Calder in Livingston, setting up Alechemy's brewery and creating complex beers with beautiful names to boot.
