Bacardi Carta Negra by Bacardi Rum
Bacardi Carta Negra by Bacardi Rum
Description

You may still remember this from when it was called Bacardi Black, then again I sometimes can't even remember my own name after indulging in this one. From the experts themselves comes a rich and full bodied dark rum, it opens with a surprisingly light and sweet range of fruity and buttery notes before shifting gears and closing with a smoky, liquorice tasting finish. It's so well balanced it can be enjoyed by itself but can also hold its own when mixed with other strong flavours. - Learn more about Bacardi Rum

About the makers

Bacardi Rum

Bacardi Rum started out when a family bought a distillery in 1862, in Cuba. The founder Don Facundo Bacardí Massó created a new rum making technique, including finding a single strain of yeast from a nearby sugarcane field. This ingredient ensured the consistent quality and taste that makes Bacardi rum so famous still to this date. From these small beginnings in Cuba, Bacardi made the first mixable rum that American Soldiers drank to celebrate the Spanish-American War to launching a cocktail range and became one of the world's largest privately held spirits organisation.
