Pilsner's early appearance in the beer world back in 1847 has made it the inspiration for two-thirds of modern brews. Thankfully, Bedlam haven't tried to reinvent it; instead using strong Saaz hops to brew their version. It gives it a classically mild, citrus aroma, with a pale malt, sweeter palate finishing it all off. Even to the most discerning beer drinker, this will live up to the Pilsner's nickname as the *King of Beverages*! - Learn more about Bedlam Brewery
It's a simple, straightforward approach. They aim to brew the best beer they can, using only the finest, natural ingredients.
They're now in their brand new brewery on a farm near Brighton. They feel passionately about the environment and embrace the rural location and local community. All the energy required for brewing comes from solar panels, they've planted and harvest their own hops, and they even supply the farmer with all the spent grain and hops, which he uses to feed their cattle.
Bedlam are proud to have been awarded 4 SIBA GOLD medals at the 2018 SIBA Beer Awards including Overall Cask Beer Champion for the South East for our Phoenix Extra American Pale 3.9%.
In 2018 they supported the Rainbow Fund in Brighton with 10% of the proceeds from their limited edition Wilde Grapefruit Pale Ale and they are giving the proceeds from this year’s Brewery Tours to the Sussex MS Centre.
Most importantly, behind the Bedlam it’s always a barrel of fun and they have a fantastic team who are brewing up a storm to bring you some exciting, new stuff. View the Bedlam Brewery page
