Description

Released in 2016, 1601 is Blacks of Kinsale’s first dive into the world of lager. It’s brewed with cascade hops for a light, refreshing result that’s sessionable and all too easy to drink. It’s also certified as gluten-free, which can be a tricky thing to find- so no need to turn your back on beer after all if gluten is your enemy. - Learn more about Blacks of Kinsale

About the makers

Blacks of Kinsale Living the dream since 2013!

This husband and wife duo have been living the dream since 2013. A harmless little beer making kit was given to Sam from Maudeline as a Valentine’s Day gift, which snowballed into the pair of them starting their own brewing company in Ireland’s Cork region. They set out to challenge the mundane beers of the mass market with their passion fuelled brews which ooze personality and are packed full of hops. Their core range of beers feature plenty of IPA options, with a stout and lager or two. The IPA discovery series experiments with different hops and ingredients to create new, exciting flavours.
