Description

This Dortmunder lager follows the German tradition of pilsner style lager. It’s a well-balanced beer which blends Barke Pilsner malt with the Saaz hops which are essential to any classic pilsner, with neither ingredient overpowering the other. It has a decent dose of bitterness from the hops, a full body and crisp taste for a refreshing finish. - Learn more about Boyne Brewhouse

About the makers

Boyne Brewhouse Irish beer from the heart of the Boyne Valley

In the heart of the Boyne valley in Ireland’s Leinster lies Boyne Brewhouse, in amongst a host of local legend. The River Boyne is embedded in the stories of Irish culture, having major historical, archaeological and mythical significance. There’s plenty of inspiration to draw on in the process of beer making, with the brewing heritage of the Drogheda region. Boyne Brewhouse has resurrected this after the last of the old breweries closed in 1960 in a Guinness takeover which ended 140 years of tradition. View the Boyne Brewhouse page
