This Amber Ale takes a variety of German hops which blend with the malty backbone of light, caramel sweetness which carries the scent of toffee. The hop flavours are full with the taste of bitter orange peel which balances nicely on the palate with the malty feel for a rich, flavour-packed taste of Ireland. - Learn more about Boyne Brewhouse
About the makers
Boyne Brewhouse Irish beer from the heart of the Boyne Valley
In the heart of the Boyne valley in Ireland’s Leinster lies Boyne Brewhouse, in amongst a host of local legend. The River Boyne is embedded in the stories of Irish culture, having major historical, archaeological and mythical significance. There’s plenty of inspiration to draw on in the process of beer making, with the brewing heritage of the Drogheda region. Boyne Brewhouse has resurrected this after the last of the old breweries closed in 1960 in a Guinness takeover which ended 140 years of tradition. View the Boyne Brewhouse page
