Deceptive in its strength and inspired by Island Records Jamaican/ Reggae heritage, this is a porter with a cheeky tropical twist. The usual roasted sensation is toned down, dark chocolate oozing through to meet the summery coconut and vanilla lift that has a little spicy kick of rum to it. Too tasty to merely sip, made to be loud and exotic. - Learn more about Island Records
About the makers
Island Records The music lover's beer
Combining beer and music, Island Records have made the careers of some of the biggest names in music- the likes of Bob Marley, U2, Amy Winehouse and Florence + the Machine just to name a few. After an evening of beer tasting in Brighton, a drunken idea to launch an IPA was born. Inspired by the moreish flavours and big hops of the popular US style beers, session IPA became a reality in 2016. A pinch of their own musical expertise infuses the brand with their vibrant energy, the word ‘session’ being a nod to the musical connotations as well as the easy drinking style of IPA. They’re unique in delivering a beer that comes with its own Spotify playlist- putting the ingredients for a good session right in your hand. View the Island Records page
