About the makers

Loch Lomond
Loch Lomond NATURALLY DISTINCTIVE WHISKIES, DISTILLED AND MATURED IN THE SHADOW OF SCOTLAND’S MAJESTIC BEN LOMOND. THE SPIRIT OF A TRULY SPECIAL PLACE.

The Loch Lomond Group are home to the best Scottish whiskies around, with a heritage that spans back as early as 1772. Their expert distilling and blending skills create a family of top quality whiskies which include the Loch Lomond Distillery and Glen Scotia. The Tarbet region, North East of the famous Loch Lomond, is where the Loch Lomond Distillery originated. The year 1987 saw this historic site re-emerge thanks to the combined wisdom of Alexander Bulloch and the Glen Catrine Company.

Upon re-opening they were already ahead of the game, being the only Scottish whisky distillery to produce both Malt and Grain, having kept alive their self-sufficient spirit in order to remain the best. It’s a distillery that’s as welcoming and unique as the breath-taking surroundings of the of the shores of Loch Lomond and the rural expanse of Ben Lomond, inspiring your taste buds to crave something more authentic and unique from your Scotch.
