Description

Confidence is a hoppy red ale. It was brewed as a tribute to Kung Fu San Soo Grand Master Jimmy H. Woo whose motto was “You can take my life but not my confidence.” This red ale was designed in respect of his red master characters. The beer has a bold ruby colour and the malt character is quite strong, with generous helpings of toffee, which is overlayed with a bitter and citric hop hit. This beer slides effortlessly past your defences and assaults your mouth with flavour, leaving you overwhelmed. The red colour and warming character make it perfect for autumn drinking. - Learn more about Moor Beer

About the makers

Moor Beer Drink Moor beer!

Moor Beer was reborn in 2007 when Justin Hawke purchased the defunct business and created what has become one of the world's top rated breweries. Named from the Levels and Moors area of Somerset where the brewery originated, it's now based in Bristol behind Temple Meads Rail Station. Moor Beer takes elements of different techniques from all over the world, taking the German, naturally hazy philosophy, combined with the American flavour-forward approach to brewing and the British secondary re-fermentation tradition to create what they call 'Modern Real Ale'. Full flavoured, well balanced, often hoppy and always drinkable! View the Moor Beer page
