Description

Inspired by the beer style created in the States known as Imperial Black Ale. Here we have a session version brewed at 4.5% but retaining the unique flavour profile. Special malt is required from Germany and hops from America to create this beer of stunning depth and complexity. The result is a beer that wraps all the wonderful hop profiles of a pale ale inside a silky black exterior. It is truly an Illusion that deceives your eyes and dazzles your taste buds. - Learn more about Moor Beer

About the makers

Moor Beer Drink Moor beer!

Moor Beer was reborn in 2007 when Justin Hawke purchased the defunct business and created what has become one of the world's top rated breweries. Named from the Levels and Moors area of Somerset where the brewery originated, it's now based in Bristol behind Temple Meads Rail Station. Moor Beer takes elements of different techniques from all over the world, taking the German, naturally hazy philosophy, combined with the American flavour-forward approach to brewing and the British secondary re-fermentation tradition to create what they call 'Modern Real Ale'. Full flavoured, well balanced, often hoppy and always drinkable! View the Moor Beer page
