Description

Ultra pale, ultra hoppy ale zinging with Southern Hemisphere hops. Casey Letellier provided the inspiration for this New World beer in the form of a pale ale hopped with Riwaka from New Zealand. A low coloured cara malt balanced the flavour to enhance drinkability, add body and some honeyed sweetness. As with any natural product, hops can change over time. Sadly, Riwaka didn't develop well in successive crops and they said farewell to Riwaka in 2012. But they managed to succeed it with an even more impressive hop from the Southern Hemisphere, keeping the soul of the beer intact. The resultant beer still remains one of the favourites. - Learn more about Moor Beer

About the makers

Moor Beer Drink Moor beer!

Moor Beer was reborn in 2007 when Justin Hawke purchased the defunct business and created what has become one of the world's top rated breweries. Named from the Levels and Moors area of Somerset where the brewery originated, it's now based in Bristol behind Temple Meads Rail Station. Moor Beer takes elements of different techniques from all over the world, taking the German, naturally hazy philosophy, combined with the American flavour-forward approach to brewing and the British secondary re-fermentation tradition to create what they call 'Modern Real Ale'. Full flavoured, well balanced, often hoppy and always drinkable! View the Moor Beer page
