This classic red ale pours a creamy head, giving way to a fruity mouthful- nicknamed ‘fruit and nut beer’ by the Porterhouse folks. Caramel flavours seep through from the roasted malts beside the trio of hops resulting in a natural sweetness with a slightly nutty hint among the fruit fuelled flavour. A satisfyingly traditional brew. - Learn more about Porterhouse Brewing Co.
Porterhouse started out in 1989 and was founded by friends Liam La Hart and Oliver Hughes. In the beginning, they specialised in importing beers from all over the world with a focus on Belgium and grew from this to open the first brewpub in Ireland in 1996. No one thought they would last and yet they continued to grow, opening four bars across the globe and creating award-winning beer to go with it. View the Porterhouse Brewing Co. page
