Description

A gritty, no-nonsense dark lager. A host of seven roasted malts make up the body of this beer, with a sprinkling of Herkules and Spalter Select hops and pilsner style yeast. It’s heavy for a lager, perfect for those who like their beers robust. Apparently it also goes well with a good old Ikea hot dog. No frills indeed. - Learn more about Schoppe Bräu

About the makers

Schoppe Bräu Brewing craft from Kreuzberg – and dedicated to it.

In Britain, we’ve come to expect our craft to come from rolling, countryside hills. Germany do things a little differently, though. Schoppe are based in the heart of the industrial and cultural capital, Berlin. Since 2001, they’ve been behind some of the most gently prepared, artisanal beers the country has come to enjoy. Made with malts, hops and elbow grease, their diverse (and often filthily named) collection are more than worth a second and third sip. View the Schoppe Bräu page
